With an idea.

Ideas are all around us, in the wind, the trees, the words people speak. Ideas can come from tv shows, other books- I’m not talking about ripping people off, if you see something and your mind goes into a tangent - that’s an idea.

If you look at something and think “I wonder…”

That’s the start of an idea.

“What if…”

“I wonder…”

“Possibly…”

“Just imagine…”

These are all great starting points to gather ideas.

When your mind drifts, that’s the start of an idea. Do you see a character on tv you like but you start thinking about an alternate universe they’re in? You have an idea.

Ever wondered what life would be like if you won the lottery? That’s an idea.

What would happen if you had no fingers? That’s an idea.

Ideas come from really weird corners of our brains; all you have to do is listen.
