Letters To My Sister - Out Now

Today I submitted my book to be self-published through Amazon as an e-book. This is a short book which will eventually become a physical pocketbook. 

Something to carry around with you to help you carry the weight of grief that is so heavy to hold and can make us feel so lonely. 

This book is dedicated to everyone who has had to experience the pain of grief. You are not alone.

The story follows our writer, the one who pens all the letters. She lost her sister a year prior and writes to her to help her process the grief she is experiencing.

I began writing this book after my grandparents passed away. It was a way for me to process the grief I felt and try to understand it from a different, and fictional, perspective. 

At this point, it was even shorter than it is now. 

I had some amazing beta readers go over the story, and they all mentioned the next bit and asked when I would finish the story. 

So that led me to write more and turn it into a complete story. 

This story is written by someone who has experienced grief themselves and understands the unbelievable heavy weight that it is. It’s also understood that grief doesn’t just go away. You carry it with you, no matter whether you have accepted the passing or not.
