Are You Trying To Get Your Books Made Into Movies?

Not at all, that’s not the goal. It’ll be nice if that happens and a surreal experience to see the world I created come to life on the screen - but it’s not the goal.
The goal is to write a story that pulls the reader in and wraps the reader into the world of the characters. I want the reader to be swirling in the story to the point they don’t even know where they are anymore. I want them to blink multiple times to ground them back into reality.
I do want it to be possible for my books to be made into movies, I wrote the opening scene of my first fiction novel as a sweeping camera shot. I love to write the way I see and view the world - and I love those sweeping shots in films. But the goal is not to make my book into a movie, if that were the goal I would work in film, or be pitching my story as a screenplay.
The goal is to write the best novel I could possibly produce.
