Why Do You Write?

I like to write because I like to see the world that’s swirling inside my head, coming to life on the page.
I love to develop characters and watch the world evolve as I type.
It’s pretty weird saying I like to watch the world I am writing, but I do. I’m a very visual person and I see what I’m writing. I visualise it and I feel it - writing it down is the hardest part, to make people see what I am seeing and feel what I am feeling, it’s a large feat. It’s hard work. All writers put their blood, sweat and tears into their book to make the reader experience what they are experiencing in their own heads.
I love to write because I love to express my thoughts and feelings - and I have too many for my loved ones to constantly listen to, so I must write them down and put them out into the world.
I love to read back what I’ve written and feel as though I am that character living that life. I love to feel as though I am someone different doing amazing things, and I feel that way when I write.
